Little did I know that there are lots of dogs who like playing pool. Vincent’s owner just sent over what has to be one of my alltime favorite pictures.
The only thing though is Vincent needs to be a little easier on the balls. Look at all the scratch marks on that 1 ball!
Keep ‘em coming everyone! If you’ve got a picture or video of your very own pool dawg, send it over and I’ll put it up on the blog.
Apparently, there’s a dog out there who’s got some mad pool playing skills. Her name is Halo and her owner hangs out on the AZ Billiards forum. I can’t quite reach the rail due to the fact that I have stubby, five inch legs, so for now I’ll just have to live vicariously through my new hero, Halo.
The Great Lakes Classic is over which normally means spending a month or so back in Atlanta, but instead I’ve decided to hang out with my buddy Sarah Rousey for a little bit longer. Yeah, I know that Bloomington isn’t Chicago, but Chillin’ in Chi-Town just sounds so much better than Bouncing Around Bloomington, dont’cha think?
Anyway, Sarah wasn’t able to take me out quite as much as planned while we were in Indiana, so I’m trying to convince her that she should take me with her to Bristol Tennessee for the WPBA’s first satellite tour stop. Hopefully she’ll take me along, especially since I hear that some new friends I made at the Super Billiards Expo earlier this year will all be there. I heard a rumor that Gail Glazebrook will be playing along with Borana Andoni who I met at the Poison booth back in March.
Hanging out with Gail Glazebrook and Tony Robles
Plus, I have a feeling that Sarah will be in a better mood since by then she probably won’t be sick and jet-lagged anymore. I’ll let you know as soon as I know, but for now I’ll be in Bloomington.
Well, if you didn’t tune in yesterday to the live WPBA stream, you missed Sarah Rousey coming back from being down 6-1 only to lose a heartbreaking hill-hill match to Sarah Ellerby. Now comes the hard part - battling through the one loss bracket. To make it back to the redraw, Sarah will have to win her next four matches.
First up for Sarah is Liz Ford at 1PM CST. The first live match will be on the computer at 11AM CST. As you might guess, Sarah hasn’t had time to post the pictures from yesterday, but we should have some updates soon.
