Halo’s Shooting More Pool

2010 April 5
by Frank T. Dawg

Last year, I found out about this dog named Halo that loves to shoot pool. Now when I say she shoots pool, we’re not talking about a dog walking on the table and bumping balls with her nose. This dog aims and fires (with quite a bit more accuracy than some of the people in the PoolDawg office too). Anyway, it looks like she’s at it again, so here’s another YouTube gem with Halo shooting pool.

You gotta check it out!

I Love A Girl in Uniform

2010 April 1
by Frank T. Dawg

It’s been a week or so since I got back from the Super Billiards Expo and I’m feeling a little blue.  Sure, the Expo was fun and I miss hanging with all my buddies from there, especially that guy Jake from PoolTees.

What I’m really bummed about though is this gal I met at the airport on the way back to Denver.  We met while waiting for our flight.

She was so nice and so pretty.  We got to talking and I found out that she’s a bomb sniffing dog for the military.  My own personal Hurt Locker.  Since she was on leave, she was clearly on the prowl, and that’s when things got a little bit inappropriate.

Apparently our PDA’s were too much for Mike and her master, because they decided to separate us.  Sadly, I never even caught her name.  Instead, I just have to sit here in the PoolDawg world headquarters pining for my beautiful GI Jane.  Such is the life of a travelling mascot.

Dr. Cue’s Dawg Trick

2010 March 29

While I was at the Super Billiards Expo, I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only Dr. Cue Tom Rossman.  Naturally, he talked me into participating in one of his crazy trick shots:

I was happy to help, but can I just say that being a volunteer is a little scary.  I mean those balls are moving fast and there’s not much clearance between me and the table.  Thankfully, I was working with a master, so I came out unscathed.
