We are officially entering show season. The Super Billiards Expo was the warm up act, but this month Team PoolDawg will be hitting Vegas in full force for the BCA Nationals event. As always, we’ll be bringing a lot of stuff. And by a lot, I mean a ton!

This crate, affectionately called “the sarcophagus” by the marketing guy is how we get all our stuff from Colorado to Vegas. This of course doesn’t include all the shelves, banners and fencing that make up our booth. This is just product.
Every year Keven does his best Tetris impression and fills every square inch of space with product.

Since he forgot to leave some space for me, I’ll be travelling in style (or as much style as one can travel in when you’re shoved in a smelly backpack under an airplane seat).
For those that have gone to BCA Nationals before, you’ll be able to find us once again in the same spot we inhabit every year. Newbies, just come in the front door and walk down the main hallway to the back wall.
In addition, my buddy Samm Diep will once again be running me around getting pictures. We’re giving away dawg dough for the best pictures so be sure to find me and Samm and don’t forget to be creative!
Its been a busy couple of weeks. First, Monica and Helena’s new place opened, so the tall lady has been quite busy slinging drinks and managing the bar. Then I got on a plane and headed out west for BCA Nationals with Keven, Alexis, Rob and Brent. While I was there, my buddy Samm dognapped me and introduced me to a bunch of her friends including the very sweet Yu Ram Cha.

I even got to sit front and center to watch some of my new friends win some dough in the finals. Cristina De La Garza, Gail Glazebrook and Borana Andoni (the nice ladies I met at the Poison booth a couple months ago) all took home winners checks.

I didn’t spend the entire time at the booth and with Samm though. Keven gave me a day off, so I got to head out to the pool, catch a few rays and work on tanning my belly.

After catching some rays on my day off, I hit the tables, got in on a few hot rollers and got paid.

Still working on getting all the pictures from Vegas up on the site, but I should have them all up in the next week or so.
Next week is travel week for everyone at PoolDawg. Keven and Alexis are packing up for PoolDawg’s annual trip to Las Vegas for the BCA Nationals and I’ll be headed out there to hang out in the booth with them along with Brent and Rob. If you’re going to Vegas, be sure to stop by the booth to say hi and pick up some free PoolDawg Master Chalk (we pretty much always have bowls of free chalk at the booth).
Meanwhile, Mike has somehow convinced the nice folks at the Direct Marketing Association that his opinions have some value, as he’ll be heading to New Orleans to speak at the annual ACCM catalog show with our friend Steve Spangler (the guy who makes Diet Coke bottles into geysers with Mentos).
Naturally, everyone’s there to see Steve Spangler, but Mike found some way to weasel his way onto the program riding on his coattails. If you haven’t seen him before, check out some of the experiments he did on the Ellen show.
I’m not sure if I’m going to make it to both Vegas and New Orleans, but I’ll definitely be at The Riv. Hopefully they’ve done something with the area that used to be the Splash Bar…
