We’re back in Hotlanta after finishing up with the Pacific Coast Classic this weekend and the tall lady finally has her computer up and running again. Better late than never, but we’ve got lots of pictures from the WPBA 2008 Carolina Classic.
As always, Debbie introduced be to just about everyone she could, so I got to meet a bunch more players and fans. The highlight though had to be meeting WPBA legend Allison Fisher. Check me out hanging with Allison Fisher and Sarah Rousey!

Hanging Out with Allison Fisher and Sarah Rousey!
Anyway, you can check out the entire photoset with all the fans as well as pros like Kelly Fisher, Morgan Steinman, Megan Minerich, Melissa Herndon and Stacy Hurst.
Back later with pictures from the Pacific Coast Classic.
Well, the Carolina Classic is over, so we’re putting it behind us. We’re back in Atlanta now and the tall lady is already hitting the tables harder than ever to get ready for our trip to Oregon in a couple weeks. Just to give you a recap, the tall lady started out against Liz Lovely, took a 5-2 lead but ended up dropping the match 9-6. That Liz is a really nice kid and damn can she play!
After getting pushed over to the one loss side, Debbie took down Irene Henry 9-4, but this just wasn’t her tournament as she lost her third match 9-5 to WPBA vet Kim White. Even though the tournament didn’t go too well for the tall lady, we had a blast meeting the fans.
Next up we’ll probably be over at Stroker’s in Palm Harbor for the Spirit Tour Stop, then its off to Lincoln City Oregon for the Pacific Coast Classic. This is my favorite event of the year, since we get to hang with APAers too (there’s an APA side by side going on at the event)! Plus, I heard that Mike the marketing guy will be heading down which means we’re pretty much assured to get another walk of shame as Debbie and I drink him under the table.
Be sure to check back later this week since the tall lady promised to put up pictures from the Carolina Classic!
It looks like our girl Debbie is back on track. This morning she posted a 9-4 win over Irene Henry. Next up is Kim White who’s coming off a 9-2 defeat at the hands of Karen Corr. Good luck Debbie!
