Sarah’s Long Haul Back

On June 19, 2009, in Frank's Adventures, by Frank T. Dawg

Well, if you didn’t tune in yesterday to the live WPBA stream, you missed Sarah Rousey coming back from being down 6-1 only to lose a heartbreaking hill-hill match to Sarah Ellerby.  Now comes the hard part – battling through the one loss bracket.  To make it back to the redraw, Sarah will have to win her next four matches.

First up for Sarah is Liz Ford at 1PM CST.  The first live match will be on the computer at 11AM CST.   As you might guess, Sarah hasn’t had time to post the pictures from yesterday, but we should have some updates soon.

On The Road Again…

On June 18, 2009, in Frank's Adventures, by Frank T. Dawg

Well, the tall lady couldn’t make it to the Great Lakes Classic, but as they say, the show must go on.

Frank Missing The Tall Lady

After sneaking on board in Helena Thornfeldt’s carry on, I managed to find my way through the casino and into Sarah Rousey’s room.  Sarah promised to take me around this week, introduce me to new friends and fans and maybe even let me hang out and watch some pool.  She even managed to sneak me into the streaming booth with AZ Billiards owner Mike Howerton.

Meanwhile, Sarah is getting tuned up for her match later today against Sarah Ellerby.  They’ll be playing live on the computer, so be sure to tune in and watch!  More pictures and results coming soon.  Don’t forget to check out the photo set to see all the pics from the event as they come in.

Frank’s (Temporary) New Handler

On June 12, 2009, in Frank's Adventures, by Frank T. Dawg

Since Debbie can’t make it to the WPBA Great Lakes Classic this year, Team PoolDawg has been frantically scrambling to find a temporary handler for me.  Thankfully it seems that the tall lady has lots of friends who were willing to help out.  Helena Thornfeldt has offered to let me ride in her carry-on for the plane trip to Indiana at which point she’ll hand me over to the rowdy,  Ms. Sarah Rousey!

Naturally I’ll miss my favorite tall lady, but Sarah has promised to take me around to meet all the fans and party down with all my buddies at the WPBA and I’ll be reunited with Debbie at the US Open.

Don’t forget that next week starting Thursday you can tune in and watch the WPBA live for free.  Just check out our WPBA Live Stream page or head over to WPBA.com for details.  I don’t think I’ll be able to get on TV, but you never know…
