We’re finally back from the Super Billiards Expo and can I just say that travelling has become one of the more humiliating aspects of my job as official mascot.
Having to ride under the seat is expected, but being forced through an X-Ray machine like a piece of luggage, that’s just wrong.

Anyway, we’ve started checking out all the pictures thanks to my personal paparazzi, Samm Diep. There are a ton of great shots, so choosing the five best for our “Be Seen With Frank” contest is going to be tough. What won’t be tough though? Including this guy as one of the Top 5!

As photographer, Samm gets to choose two of the winners, but I have ultimate selection power for the other three. Once Samm gets back from NYC we’ll have all five picked and will send out the gift certificates. See, Samm and her friend Mike Fieldhammer decided to take off to New York without me and Sarah was busy with the folks over at Mezz, so that meant I had to go home with Mike. Ugh.
No trip to Philadelphia is complete without a trip to Pat’s and Geno’s for the world’s best cheesesteaks.

Since there’s a longstanding debate about who has the world’s best cheesesteaks, Pat’s or Geno’s. Mike, Samm, Fieldhammer and I went down to South Philly for the ultimate taste challenge.

Both were magically delicious, even if we didn’t go the traditional cheese whiz route.

In the end, we decided unanimously that Geno’s had the better meat but Pat’s had the better rolls. If only we could put the two together…

Its been a long couple of weeks. Taiwan was pretty cool and San Diego was a blast (Sarah finished 5-8th!!), but no rest for the weary. After San Diego, I headed back to PoolDawg HQ for a little face lift (more on that later) and then got right back on a plane for King of Prussia, PA to hang out at the Super Billiards Expo.
Because I was traveling with Mike the marketing guy, we got to the airport way earlier then necessary. While we were waiting, Mike put a movie in for me to keep me busy.

Frank T. Dawg Watching Zombieland
Why Mike thought Zombieland was an appropriate movie for me I’ll never know, but it sure did make me want some Twinkies! Anyway, after a couple of hours waiting at Gate 49, we finally got on board. Apparently I’m not good enough for an actual seat on the plane, because Mike jammed me in his smelly backpack and I had to ride under a chair for 3 hours.

I get zero love I tell ya!
Since I got such shoddy treatment on the plane, Mike promised that he’d take me to Pat’s and Geno’s to have some authentic philly cheesesteaks. Promises, promises…
