We all knew it was coming, but PoolDawg finally made it official. In 2010, I will once again be travelling around the United States with the one and only Sarah Rousey!

Sarah did such a good job taking care of me (no broken tails or feet in 2009) that Mike the marketing guy has decided to let me hang out with her for another year. That means I’ll be traveling to all the WPBA events in 2010 and I might even get to go to a few other places. Derby City is coming up and I’ve never been there, so I’m hoping that if Sarah goes she’ll take me along.
By the way, if you haven’t visited Sarah’s blog, you really should. Not only does she write all about her adventures on the road, but she also has a trivia contest every week where you can win some Dawg Dough.
Can’t wait to hit the road with the Rowdy one again!
Now that Sarah’s back from China, we finally can put a close to the 2009 season. As many of you know, Sarah had a rough go of it in Florida, but that didn’t stop her from meeting and greeting, handing out goodies and of course snagging some pictures.
For you football fans from the 80s, yes, the guy that’s standing behind me is none other than Mark “Super” Duper. Since Mike the marketing guy is pretty ancient, he was completely jealous to hear that I got to hang with one of Dan Marino’s alltime favorite targets.
If you want to see all the pictures from the Tour Championships, check out our Flickr thing where we keep all our pictures. Since the season is over, I’ll be spending my days fending off Sarah’s crazy cats for a few months. Fear not though, in 2010 I’ll be once again heading on the road with the internet’s favorite WPBAer for more pictures and adventures.
Lots of stuff going on this weekend for Team PoolDawg. In case you didn’t know, the WPBA Tour Championships start Thursday, which means I’m off to sunny Hollywood, FL. Not quite as glamorous as the one in Cali, but still, should be a good time. I’ll get to hang out with the rowdy girl, see my WPBA buddies for the last time this season and maybe even get on the live stream.
In addition to the Tour Championships, ESPN is also airing the Pacific Coast Classic this Sunday on ESPN. If all goes according to plan, I’ll have my big national TV debut sometime during the first hour, so that will be pretty sweet. Also, the rowdy girl managed to get herself interviewed by ESPN, so she’ll probably be getting some airtime too. Sure, she didn’t bring me along for the interview, but I was too busy trying to unbury myself at the beach, so I wouldn’t have made it anyway.

As for the event itself, this seems to be one of Sarah’s best places to play. Last year she finished 3rd, taking out names like Allison Fisher and Gerda Hofstatter in the process, so I’ll look forward to another huge showing from my little buddy. Maybe if she makes the TV tapings again she’ll let me sit in her corner…
